One of the biggest complaints I hear from small business owners is not knowing what to blog about.
Well, I am about to solve that problem forever.
Enter Quora. Quora is a totally free website that leverages the power of the hive mind to answer questions. So, a user can go on and ask any question they can think of, and other Quora users will help answer it.
But whether or not you ever use it to ask a question Quora is a blogger’s best friend.
Here’s how: When you’re not sure what you should be blogging about, head over to Quora (you have to jump through a few hoops to sign up, but it’s all free) and do a search on your topic.
Let’s say, for example, you are an accountant. That might seem like a pretty boring topic (accountants are known—rightly or not!—for being boring…), but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing you can blog about.
Hop on over to Quora and do a search for “accounting.” Here are some of the questions that pop up:
- What should everyone know about accounting?
- How do I find a good accountant?
- Is there any free accounting software for small business?
- What are the creative sides of accounting?
Each and every one of those questions would be a perfect starting place for a blog post. And the cool thing is that you can do this for any topic, in any industry!
